Kara Caregivers Support Group

  • Led by Bonnie Camp
  • Contact Bonnie with any questions: karacaregivers@aol.com

Register to attend

Caregiving is difficult whether it is at home or in a hospital or a nursing home.  Trying to meet the needs of another person is never easy, especially when we are emotionally involved with the one we are providing care for.  A parent, a child, a sibling, a friend... there are many who are called to be caregivers.  And it is not an easy road to travel, and that is why we have established Kara.

Kara is a group for those who have been called to provide care for someone else but who also need to feel cared for. Kara is a support group where caregivers can come to share what is on their hearts, seek advice from others who are walking the same road and just be appreciated, supported, cared for and encouraged by their own community of believers while experiencing the highs and lows of being a caregiver.

Our goal is to ease your journey by offering:

  • Information and resources to help navigate the caregiving role
  • A non-judgmental space to share your experiences with others who understand
  • Guidance for self-care and maintaining emotional and physical well-being

NEW! Baptism Request Form

If you have turned to Jesus and committed your life to Him, it's time for baptism. Remember, baptism is not what saves you, it's through faith in Christ alone that your are saved. Baptism is a public demonstration and declaration of what God has done in your life.

Baptism request form

Once you complete both steps of the Baptism Request Form you will be contacted to discuss your baptism. NOTE: Although you do not have to attend a NEXT STEP class in order to be baptized, we highly recommend that you do as this is a time for you to ask questions. It's also a time that you are able to have a one-on-one conversation with an elder or deacon about your salvation.

There are two parts to the registration.
Step 1: Complete Request Form with includes your contact information.
Step 2: When you submit the form you will be prompted to complete the Attendee Information Section — the information collected is needed to schedule your baptism. After you submit the Attendee Information Form, you will be contacted by Carrie Boyden.

Ephesians 2:8-9
"For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast."
