Leslie attended York College of Pennsylvania and received his Bachelors degree in Criminal Justice. A member of the Delaware State Police for 25+ years, Les is currently a criminal investigative unit supervisor. Les has served the church as a volunteer in a variety of ministry environments and capacities including; children, middle school, and youth ministry, leadership team, missions, small groups and men's ministry. Leslie and his wife Tracie have lived in the Bethany Beach and Fenwick area for over 20 years. They were married in 1992 and have two daughters, Lindsey and Lauren. Leslie's interests include spending time with family and friends, serving, sports and reading.

A founding member of High Tide Church, Lew commits his time in many aspects of the church. Lew has been a Christian since the age of 12, with a number of years living a worldly life. He made a re-commitment in the early 1990's to be available to be in God's will. Lew serves High Tide as the Deacon responsible for the worship. His lovely wife, Bonnie, has been a guiding force in his life, raising two great children, Craig, married to Jenny with their children, Taylor and Colin, and Brandee, married to Scott with their children Trevor and Michaiah. They consider themselves to be very blessed.

Mario was born in Fort Lee, Virginia and moved to Delaware when he was 10 years old. A 1992 graduate of Indian River High School, Mario eventually married Brandi, a strong Christian influence in his life. Together, they are raising four beautiful children, Alexa, Desmond, Maric, and Candon. Mario committed his life to Jesus in 2008 and came to High Tide the following year. As Deacon of Facilities , he serves by scheduling setup/tear-down teams, assisting the Elders and helping with the many physical needs of the church. He also volunteers in GForce. Mario's motto, "I am blessed, put me to the test!"

Gordon was born in "Balmer," and grew up in Carroll County, Maryland. He attended the University of Maryland College Park and graduated in 1969 with a degree in WIldlife Management. Gordon was among the first people baptized at High Tide. He has been an important part of the church from its early days at Lord Baltimore Elementary, serving in all areas; custodial duties, driving the truck, parking lot, drama productions, set-up/tear-down, working with the youth and children's ministry, serving on the the leadership team. There are very few areas in which he hasn't served. Gordon and his wife Shirley have two daughters and five grandchildren. He loves deer hunting and when asked how he is, will often reply, "Fair to middlin."

Tanya Ehlers works part-time on staff as the Childrens Director. She grew up in Ocean City, Maryland, the daughter of Terry Davis, pastor at Ocean City Baptist Church. Tanya attended Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary where she met and married Andy Ehlers. After receiving a Masters of Divinity with an emphasis in Christian Education, both she and Andy felt God's call to plant a church in the Northeast. Eventually, they were led to Southern Delaware where High Tide Church was established. As Andy began duties as the Pastor, Tanya wanted to use her education to teach children the Bible. Her passion is to see them learn the Bible in fun and creative ways. Tanya is the mother of Raychel, Camryn, Leilani and Drew. They all enjoy taking part in the many activities at High Tide.
