Life Groups

A Life Group is primarily about relationships, community, and living out our faith together. Life Groups provide a smaller setting where people can know one another, pray together, encourage one another, share life's joys and challenges, and grow as followers of Jesus. These groups meet in homes.

Life Groups create space for that kind of intentional community. While a Life Group may study Scripture, the primary focus is the people and the relationships—learning how to follow Jesus together and support one another through everyday life.

A Life Group is a place to:

  • Build genuine friendships and Christian community
  • Pray for and encourage one another
  • Share life's challenges and victories
  • Apply God's Word to everyday life
  • Serve others together
  • Grow in Christ alongside people who know you and care about you

The gospel is about Jesus Christ and His power to transform our lives and our relationship with Him as well as with others. As Christians we have a new identity that defines every aspect of our lives based solely on our faith in Jesus. Our sin, weakness and failures no longer define who we are. We will be using the workbook “Gospel Transformation” (second edition, World Harvest Missions) to help us further understand how receiving and resting in the truths of the gospel translates into a Christian life of joy, peace, freedom and love.

Some of the most powerful people in the Bible are the ones you've probably never heard of. In GHOSTED, we'll dive into the stories of overlooked people like Veronica, Agur, and Onesimus—ordinary people whose lives reveal extraordinary truths about God's grace, purpose, identity, and redemption. Though they may have been forgotten by history, they were never forgotten by God.

If you've ever felt overlooked, uncertain about your purpose, or wondered if your story really matters, this series is for you. God has always used unexpected people to accomplish His greatest purposes, and He is still doing it today.

Join us as we discover that the people the world overlooks are often the very ones God chooses to change the world. Because you are never forgotten by the God who knows your name.

How can we hold onto assurance of our faith? How can we discern the truth from a lie? How can we know God loves us? In three short letters, the apostle John reminds an early church facing division, deception, and doubt to hold fast to what they know and to live like they believe it. And he reminds us, as well. In this 10-session Bible study on the letters of 1, 2, and 3, John, Jen Wilkin helps you see how two thousand years later, his words call to Christians in similar challenges to recall a great salvation and to abide in the truth.
