Small Groups: Winter/Spring 2021

To grow in Christlikeness through knowledge of the Word and its application to our lives, yielding a personal spiritual transformation.

The best way to grow in God's Word and to connect and be a part of the church is to join a small group. At HTC we offer small groups for everyone from age 18 to 100+! For the younger kiddos, please check out HTC Kids & Gforce and for Middle School and High School check out H2O.

EVERYONE is WELCOME to join a small group. In fact, we encourage you to join a group. There is no pressure, just pure love. Maybe you've never opened a Bible or maybe you have the books of the Bible memorized - EVERYONE is WELCOME! This isn't about what you know, it's about growing in your relationship with the Lord. The best time to start is TODAY! You don't have to clean up, you don't have to prepare, just come as you are. If you have any questions please contact the HTC office at 302-732-3303 or email HTC at

Everything has a starting point. Sometimes we forget that faith has a starting point as well. For some of us, our faith journey began in childhood through a parent, teacher or pastor. Or maybe you had no faith at all. But what if you could find a new starting point for faith? Whether you're curious about God, new to faith, coming back to church, or new to High Tide Church, it's a place where your opinions and beliefs are valued, and no question is off limits. You will be part of a conversational small group environment where you can explore faith and experience community. Come as you are and build relationships with others as you discover your starting point.

During these eight sessions, you will:

  • Reflect on central questions of faith and life
  • Explore and share what you're learning with other people in a conversational environment

The Bible is full of admonishment that is our responsibility to know Him.

  • "Acquaint now yourself with Him." Job 22:21
  • "So let us know, let us press on to know the Lord." Hosea 6:3
  • "Let him who boasts, boast of this, that he understands and knows Me, that I am the Lord." Jeremiah 9:24

The foundation of all true knowledge of God must be a clear mental apprehension of His perfections as revealed in scripture. Also, a spiritual and saving knowledge of God is the greatest need of every human creature. This study will examine some of the principle perfections of His divine character and allow us to build a High View of God, apply His truth to our consciences and hearts, so that our lives may be transformed.
