What is High Tide Church?

High Tide Church is a community of believers in Christ, who are committed to walking through the Scriptures one verse, one chapter, one book at a time.

If you live in or near lower Sussex County or are visiting the coastal communities, we hope you will consider worshipping with us. We meet every Sunday morning at 10am, at the John M. Clayton Elementary School in Dagsboro. We also have a Midweek Bible Study on Wednesday evenings at 7pm, at our Frankford Campus, located at 34407 Dupont Blvd Suite 5 in the Banks Plaza.

Our worship services are designed to glorify God. We begin with singing praise songs to prepare our hearts to receive the Word of God and then continue with God's message. Our hope and goal is to lift up and glorify Jesus in every part of the service, strengthen and equip believers through knowledge of God's Word and proclaim the Gospel to the lost.

Our prayer and purpose is we want people to discover Jesus so that they can receive the life that Christ has designed for especially for them. Have you felt a tugging at your heart to learn more about God's Word? Are you feeling lost in this chaotic world? There is hope and love through Jesus. Why not come and see what High Tide is for yourself. Come and learn about God's love for you!

Why join a church?

One of the essentials of the Christian life is church membership in and faithful commitment to a local church.

Christians should join a church as a witness to non-Christians in order to demonstrate what it means to have a heart that has been redeemed by the grace of God.

Christ has so identified himself with the church that he is at work building it. It is his work, it is his body.

"The life of the church is communal. It is basically intensely shared personal relationships with a spiritual thrust." John MacArthur
