Why join a church?
One of the essentials of the Christian life is church membership in and faithful commitment to a local church.
Christians should join a church as a witness to non-Christians in order to demonstrate what it means to have a heart that has been redeemed by the grace of God.
Christ has so identified himself with the church that he is at work building it. It is his work, it is his body.
"The life of the church is communal. It is basically intensely shared personal relationships with a spiritual thrust." John MacArthur
Next-Step Membership Classes are scheduled to prepare prospective members for joing our church. The meetings are usually set for a Sunday afternoon and involve an opportunity for the candidate to examine High Tide and understand the doctrine and polity of the church as well as the opportunity for church leadership to evaluate the readiness of the candidate to join in fellowship with High Tide Church.
